First eats

Hey there! Today’s rain started out not so bad this morning, but it is currently down pouring in NYC and I came home sopping wet! My umbrella became completely useless once I got caught up on a block that is a notorious wind tunnel on my walk home! Warm and dry until I leave for a meeting later this afternoon…

Breakfast! Almost every morning I use my Bodum French press to make coffee. I love it. The coffee I have been using for awhile now is the house roast from Think Coffee.

Most days I have the same breakfast…whole wheat toast with peanut butter and banana.

I had lunch today at Karen’s. You’ll be seeing a lot of this place on the blog because they make the best homemade soups and sandwiches. Plus, it’s on my walk home from school :) My ultimate favorite is the vegan split pea soup, but despite the soup-perfect crummy weather today, I went for the tuna dill sandwich. This one is always a winner! Not too much mayo and the dill flavor always comes through. And it comes on the best multigrain bread. Love <3

The wind tunnel also known as Astor Place.

A little dessert — spoonful of Nutella!

I have a fun recipe planned for dinner so stay tuned! See you later.
